Donny Boy offers confidential short and long-term High Pressure Processing (HPP) research and product development services.
Products are processed at pressures up to 6000 bar (87000 psi or 600 MPa) for effective processing the following packaging requirements need to be adhered to:
- Product needs to have a moisture content of at least 30%
- Packaging needs to be in plastic containers or bags (without glass or metal packaging)
- For plastic bags, products can be packaged up to 10 kg (maximum bag dimensions available on request)
- Product needs to be delivered at a chilled temperature (0-4°C)
- Approximately 30 kg product can be processed per HPP cycle (for bottled products, yield could be lower)
